West Side residents have a life expectancy of 69 years, which is 16 years less than residents of the Loop, just a 15-minute train ride away. Bethel New Life has a vision that will close the gap for our Community of Elders and the communities we serve by implementing programs and initiatives that create healthcare and horticulture career opportunities, provide access to gardening activities and fresh produce, create wellness arts programming for youth and adults, create affordable space for local nonprofits, and build a physical hub that supports holistic intergenerational programming.
